Privacy Policy

Overview

Lumora is an intimacy planner for couples. It helps you and your partner stay connected through spontaneous mood matching and weekly planning. Your privacy is fundamental to an app this personal. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.

Data We Collect

• Account information — Lumora uses anonymous sign-up by default. No email or name is required. We store a randomly generated user ID to identify your account.
• Mood and availability data — When you indicate your mood or set your weekly availability, this is stored on our servers so your partner can be notified.
• Partner pairing — A pairing code links your account to your partner's. Only paired accounts can see each other's mood and availability.
• App preferences — Settings such as notification preferences and PIN lock configuration.
• Device information — Timezone and basic device type for delivering notifications at the right time.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Location data
• Contacts or photos
• Browsing history
• Advertising identifiers
• Email address (unless you choose to sign in with one)

How We Use Your Data

• To notify your partner when your moods match
• To show overlapping availability in the weekly planner
• To send reminders about upcoming planned moments
• To sync your data across devices

Third-Party Services

• Firebase Authentication (Google) — Used for secure anonymous sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — Used to deliver push notifications (mood matches, reminders).

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or provide your personal data to any third parties. Your mood and availability data is only shared with your paired partner.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Mood and availability data is associated with your user account and is only accessible to you and your paired partner. Communication between the app and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our servers.

Children's Privacy

Lumora is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
